Ryan Edwards

Ryan Edwards has a diverse background in laser engineering and design. Ryan started their career as a Laser Technician at Light Age Inc in 1999, and later worked as a Laser Engineer at Photonics Industries International from 2000 to 2002. In this role, they gained experience in working with and building different types of laser systems. Ryan then joined ATK as a Design Engineer from 2002 to 2009, where they were involved in designing and constructing pulsed chemical lasers for target effects testing. Finally, they worked at Fibertek as a Laser Engineer from 2009 onwards, focusing on the design and development of space qualified laser transmitters. Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in various laser technologies and has experience in environmental testing and troubleshooting.

Ryan Edwards began their education at Delaware Technical and Community College in 1994, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ryan completed this degree in 1997. In the same year, they also began studying at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Photonics in 1999.
