Travis Jones

Travis Jones has a work experience spanning over several years. Travis started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Tutorial Assistant at Wake Forest University in 2013. Travis then joined Georgia Institute of Technology as a Doctoral Candidate in The School of Physics from 2015 to 2020. Following that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Laser Scientist at Fibertek Inc. starting from June 2021.

Travis Jones completed their education with diverse academic achievements. Travis began with their high school education at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2011. Travis then pursued their undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Building upon their foundation, they enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015 and completed their Master of Science degree in Physics in 2017. Continuing their academic journey, Travis Jones pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2020.
