Michael Bakaic

Michael completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Toronto in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Environmental and Energy systems. With the training and professional development acquired through extra-curricular activities, Michael quickly became recognized as a skilled engineer. Michael has applied and refined his abilities in product design and project management through full time and contract positions in the automotive, medical, agriculture, and bicycle industries. Seeking new challenges, Michael expanded his knowledge and experience in environmental engineering through a Master's degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and York University. Specializing in Arctic water resource engineering, he has cultivated diverse application based expertise in the extreme and challenging environments which demand innovative instrument solutions. Michael is committed to the development of future technology leaders through his work as a Board of Director of the Formula North Engineering Design competition and Lead Judge at the Vex Robotics competition.
