Ruud Tavenier

Ruud Tavenier is an experienced procesoperator with a career spanning over two decades in the chemical and metallurgical sectors. Currently employed at Fibrant since September 2018, Ruud operates within the HPO factory as part of a continuous shift team, contributing to the production of Caprolactam, a key ingredient for Nylon-6. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Nyrstar from January 2000 to August 2018, where operations were conducted in a small team at the RZU factory, specializing in roasting and sulfuric acid processes. Ruud’s earlier roles included processing zinc at NedZink BV and managing environmental technical responsibilities at Verzinkerij van Aert BV. Education includes an MTS in Process Technology obtained between 1988 and 1994, with additional studies at Summa from 2012 to 2015 and Philips van Horne SG from 1983 to 1988.
