Daniel Junglas is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in optimization and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at FICO since October 2020, Daniel focuses on the XPRESS solver. Prior to this role, Daniel was an Advisory Software Scientist at IBM from January 2009 to September 2020, where responsibilities included developing and integrating the CPLEX optimization engine. Earlier in the career, Daniel held positions at ILOG and Wincor-Nixdorf International GmbH, working on the CPLEX optimization engine and cash flow optimization, respectively. Daniel also has experience in developing embedded Linux and real-time operating systems at SYSGO GmbH. Daniel holds a Dr. rer. nat in Mathematics and a Diplom-Mathematiker in Mathematics and Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
