Ted Walter

Ted Walter is an experienced executive in risk management and internal auditing, currently serving as Vice President of Risk, Assurance & Finance Operations at FICO since March 2013. In this role, Ted is responsible for enterprise-wide risk identification and mitigation, covering financial, operational, IT, and cybersecurity aspects, along with overseeing the company's SOX 404 ICFR program. Prior to FICO, Ted held senior positions at Illumina, Inc. and Scripps Health, where responsibilities included advising on risk and internal controls, leading audits, and implementing best practices. Ted began their career at KPMG, LLP, providing financial statement attestation services for complex organizations. Ted earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech.
