Simon Desplanques

Simon Desplanques is a seasoned tax lawyer with extensive experience in fiscal law, currently serving as Avocat Directeur Associé and responsible for the Fiscal IT department at FIDAL since September 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held the position of Avocat associé at FIDAL since April 2012, focusing on managing the tax affairs of French groups and foreign subsidiaries, conducting tax audits, and overseeing tax compliance and disputes. Simon also gained significant expertise as a Tax Lawyer in Transaction Tax at Ernst & Young Société d'Avocats from January 2011 to April 2012, and started a career in fiscal law as a Stagiaire en droit fiscal at Ashurst in 2010. Simon holds multiple degrees in law, including a Master 2 in fiscal law from Université d'Angers and an LLM in American legal studies from Vermont Law School.
