Akhil Nigam

Akhil Nigam currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Emerging Businesses at Fidelity Investments, responsible for building and scaling new businesses within Workplace Investing since 2015. Previously, Akhil held the position of Managing Director at Fidelity Labs and has been a key member of MassChallenge's Board of Advisors, as well as its Founder and President, focusing on global innovation through startup acceleration. Akhil served on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries International from 2015 to 2021, contributing to one of the top US charities. Recognized as a leader, Akhil was selected for Boston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 and named a Ten Outstanding Young Leader by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Early career experiences include roles at Bain & Company, Ebusinessware, Societe Generale, and Lehman Brothers, complemented by an MBA from Harvard Business School and advanced degrees from Columbia University and The Cooper Union.
