Christopher Laplante

Christopher LaPlante has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Platform Lead for Event Streaming & Integration at Fidelity Investments since June 2005, Christopher has held multiple senior leadership positions within the company, including Vice President of Middleware and Data Movement Services and Director of Product Owner for Enterprise Infrastructure (Big Data). Prior experience includes roles at Bose Corporation as Sr. Systems Administrator and at Sequence Design as Unix Systems Administrator, along with various positions focusing on systems administration and engineering at Freudenberg-NOK, Wright Line, and Thielsch Engineering. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England University, complemented by earlier studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
