Curtis McGiveney

Curtis McGiveney is the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Fidelity Investments, where they support and advise on group health and insurance transactional and compliance matters. With expertise in ERISA, tax, Health Savings Accounts, contract negotiations, artificial intelligence, insurance, and data privacy law, Curtis plays a crucial role in guiding plan sponsors and service providers. They previously served as an Investigator at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration from 2001 to 2007, ensuring fiduciary compliance with ERISA regulations. Curtis holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and an LLM in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, as well as a BA in English and Political Science from Mercer University.
