David Nguyen

David Nguyen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Director at Fidelity Investments since January 2022, David previously held multiple key roles at IBM from July 2001 to December 2021. As an Architect for IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Crypto Services, David was instrumental in developing a compliant HSM-as-a-service and transforming IBM Public Cloud into a validated service across six global regions. A diverse background includes positions as Technical Assistant in IBM Z Software, Senior Software Engineer in Systems Cloud, and Release Architect for PowerVC, showcasing a strong ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and execute complex projects. David holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, earned between 1997 and 2007.
