David Power

David Power is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation Ecosystem Europe at Fidelity Investments since October 2025, David leads initiatives through the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, focusing on emerging trends and technologies. Prior to this role, David was the Managing Director of Innovation at Dogpatch Labs from July 2019 to October 2025, overseeing a renowned entrepreneurship program. As the co-founder and CEO of Hiri since September 2012, David developed an email client aimed at enhancing communication and productivity. Earlier career experiences include serving as Digital Design Lead at Telefónica from June 2008 to October 2012, where David managed UX and brand strategy for digital assets, and as Creative Director at 3PlayPlus from November 2006 to June 2008. David holds a B.Des (hons.) in Industrial Design from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, earned between 1997 and 2001.
