Debasis Bal

Debasis Bal is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as SVP of Data Science & AI at Fidelity Investments. They have previously held several key roles at Fidelity, including Director of Data Science and Senior Director, where they established and expanded the Data Science and AI capabilities. Prior to their tenure at Fidelity, Debasis worked at GE as a Senior Engineer and Lab Manager, focusing on predictive analytics and data mining. Their career began at Steel Authority of India Ltd., where they provided business planning and performance monitoring support. Debasis holds multiple degrees, including a PGDM from TAPMI and an FRM in Risk Management from GARP.
