Derek Rutledge currently serves as Vice President at Fidelity Investments since October 2022. Prior to this, Derek held various leadership roles at IBM from June 1997 to October 2022, including Software Development Program Director for IBM Cloud Foundational Services, where oversight was given to a team of 70 engineers delivering containerized services on the OpenShift Kubernetes platform. Derek also excelled as a Senior Software Development Manager, leading development teams in innovative projects, and as Operations Manager for WebSphere Development, managing a large development organization with significant budget responsibilities. Additional experience includes roles in program management and financial analysis, providing a comprehensive understanding of software business operations. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.
