Elayne Ruane

Elayne Ruane is a seasoned professional in the fields of natural language processing and data science, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Fidelity Investments. With a rich background that includes a research internship at the National Institute of Informatics, positions as a demonstrator and teaching assistant at University College Dublin, and extensive hands-on experience in managing and implementing technology-driven projects, Elayne has developed expertise in applying state-of-the-art NLP and machine learning techniques. Elayne is also pursuing a PhD at the Lero Centre, focusing on the quality assurance of conversational AI and contributing to various projects related to machine learning, user experience, and software testing. Elayne holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree, a Master’s in Computer Science, and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from University College Dublin.
