Igor Halperin

Igor Halperin is an expert in AI and machine learning with extensive experience in quantitative research and asset management. Currently serving in AI Asset Management at Fidelity Investments since January 2019, Igor has previously held leadership roles, including Principal Owner at Invisible Hand Computing LLC, where development of predictive models and algorithms for finance was a focus. As a Research Professor of Financial Machine Learning at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Igor created and taught an innovative course on Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning in Finance. Prior roles include Executive Director of Quantitative Research at JPMorgan Chase, where Igor developed models for derivatives pricing and risk optimization, and a Quantitative Developer at Bloomberg LP. Igor holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy Physics from Tel Aviv University and was involved in a Ph.D. program in theoretical physics at Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, RAS.
