Jie Yu

Jie Yu is the Director of Data Science at Fidelity Investments, where they focus on artificial intelligence for asset management. With over ten years of experience in analyzing both structured and unstructured big data and developing machine learning models, Jie effectively communicates complex insights to diverse audiences. They previously served as a Research Assistant Professor at Temple University, where they created a deep learning framework for evaluating molecule energies to aid in molecular catalyst development. Jie also held postdoctoral research positions at Berkeley Lab, contributing significantly to materials discovery and data analysis frameworks. Currently, Jie is pursuing advanced degrees in Physics and Physical Chemistry at multiple prestigious institutions, including the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Tsinghua University.
