John McGinty

John McGinty serves as the Senior Vice President of Compliance for Fidelity Institutional at Fidelity Investments, where they lead a team providing compliance support for various services and oversee the company's digital assets function. Previously, John held the position of SVP Asset Management Compliance, managing compliance for multiple investment companies and advisers within Fidelity. They also served as Global Chief Compliance Officer at GMO LLC, where they led a global compliance team for a major investment management firm. John began their career as an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in the investment management group. They are currently pursuing degrees in English at Tufts University and the University of Virginia, as well as a Juris Doctorate at Boston University School of Law.
