Lars Mackenzie

Lars Mackenzie, PhD, is the Director of Enterprise Programs and Learning at Fidelity Investments, where they lead the strategic development of learning programs for over 8,000 managers. Previously, Lars served as a Senior Manager and Learning Experience Architect at Fidelity, focusing on user-centered learning experiences. Their experience includes instructional design roles at Simmons and Brandeis Universities, as well as a Senior Design Manager position at Emeritus, where they won the 2022 Financial Times Responsible Business Education Award. Lars also has a background in frontend development and UX design with Mackenzie Designs, and they spent seven years as a doctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota, where they developed expertise in data, digital surveillance, and social issues. Lars earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampshire College in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies.
