Matt Michener

Matt Michener is the Compliance Director at Fidelity Investments, where they have been since 2007. Previously, Matt served as the Assistant Director of Appeals Administration at the 1199 National Benefit Fund from 2006 to 2007, where they improved appeals procedures and led a team of appeal administrators. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Institutional Retirement Products at AXA from 1999 to 2005, advising on regulatory compliance and guiding retirement plan investment professionals. Matt earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Albany Law School of Union University from 1994 to 1997.
