Paras Varshney

Paras Varshney is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Fidelity Investments since June 2024, Paras focuses on developing advanced fraud risk technologies to combat financial scams. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where Paras created innovative machine learning solutions for underwater acoustics. As a Global Data Science Ambassador at HP, Paras led collaborations to enhance data science workflows and optimize processing tasks with new GPU technology. Additional roles include Data Scientist at LogicAI, where mentorship increased engagement in a data science championship, and contributions at the Indian Institute of Science that involved developing retraining strategies for transportation data models.
