Qian Yang

Qian Yang is the Director of NLP and Machine Learning at the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence at Fidelity Investments, a position held since 2021. They have contributed to academia as a Visiting Researcher at institutions such as Rutgers University and RWTH Aachen University. Prior to this, Qian served as a Research Associate at Penn State University and a Lecturer at Duke University. They earned their Bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, where they also worked as a Research Assistant in the Web Mining and Language Technology Group. Qian has also gained experience through internships at various organizations, including Technicolor and FunPlus.
