Scott McCready

Scott McCready serves as the Director of Tax Counsel at Fidelity Investments, a position held since June 2005, where responsibilities include providing legal expertise within the Planning Group of the Corporate Tax Department. Prior experience includes roles as Director and Senior Legal Product Manager, focusing on the development and review of marketing materials and internal policies related to tax content and compliance. McCready's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Research Assistant at the Investment Company Institute from June 2001 to July 2004, where coordination of statistics for the mutual fund industry was a primary responsibility. McCready holds an LLM in Tax from Boston University School of Law, a JD in Corporate Law from New England Law | Boston, and a BA in Economics from American University. Education also includes attendance at Bergen Catholic High School.
