Seyi Bucknor

Seyi Bucknor is the current Head of Investment Consultant Relations at Fidelity. Prior to this, they were the Head of North America at Newton Investment Management from January 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they led the $10 billion North American business for Newton Investment Management, including oversight of sales and relationship management teams.

Bucknor has also previously served as Managing Director and Co-Head Manager Research Group at BNY Mellon Investment Management from January 2012 to December 2019. In this role, they managed a team of asset class specialists, quantitative research analysts, and client relationship managers in BNY Mellon’s Manager Research Group. This group served in an advisory capacity to intermediaries within BNY Mellon, provided governance and oversight on behalf of BNY mutual fund boards, and conducted market research for and consulted to BNY Mellon Investment Management Executive and affiliated asset managers.

Seyi Bucknor has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in Industrial & Labor Relations and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
