Tom Drife

Tom Drife is the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Fidelity Investments, where they lead the UK legal team and focus on regulatory work related to MiFID 2 and SMCR, with a keen interest in ESG investments. They have worked in Asset Management since 2004, previously serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Fidelity and Managing Lawyer at Invesco Perpetual. Tom trained as a corporate lawyer at Hogan Lovells, contributing to significant transactions such as the £1bn acquisition of Churchill Insurance by RBS. Additionally, Tom served as an Army reservist in the Honourable Artillery Company from 2002 to 2014, participating in operational service in Iraq. Tom holds a BA (Hons) in Economic & Social History from the University of Bristol and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of England.
