Yi Wang

Yi Wang is a Principal Data Scientist and Director of Quantitative Trading in AI for Asset Management at Fidelity, with over 12 years of industrial experience and 5 years of Ph.D. training in machine learning applications for various data types. Wang's notable achievements include inventing the first automated hard disk defect pattern classification technology at Seagate and pioneering a near real-time polyp detection technology for Mayo Clinic. Wang has held significant roles at MassMutual, eBay, and other organizations, contributing to numerous projects that leverage machine learning for financial applications, while also leading teams of junior data scientists. Currently, Wang is pursuing a master's degree in computer science at Arizona State University.
