Neil Carter

Neil Carter has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Neil is currently the Head of Engineering at FIDO Tech Ltd, where they work closely with the CEO and CTO to develop engineering solutions for the water industry. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer at Nelson & Colne College for five years.

Neil also has extensive experience as a Consultant Engineer at Widgetology, where they developed conceptual designs and prototypes. Neil worked at Widgetology for over 20 years before joining FIDO Tech Ltd.

Furthermore, Neil worked as an Applications Engineer at Renishaw and as a Workshop Manager at Concentric Asia Pacific. Neil also has experience as a Lecturer in Motor Sport Design at Brooklands College, where they played a key role in integrating 3D printing into the curriculum.

Earlier in their career, Neil worked as a CAM Consultant and Applications Engineer at Siemens PLM Software, specializing in the CAM module of the Unigraphics software suite. Neil has also held positions as a Workshop Manager at PDD Group Ltd and as a Machinist, CNC Programmer/Operator at Finsbury Orthopaedics.
