Erwin Wolniewitz

Erwin Wolniewitz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years in the semiconductor industry. Erwin is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Fidus Systems since March 2021. In their role, Erwin utilizes their technical expertise to assist customers with their hardware, software, firmware, and engineering resource needs.

Prior to their current position, Erwin worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Future Electronics from December 2018 to March 2021. Erwin was responsible for driving revenue growth and building relationships with customers and manufacturers. Their role involved understanding customer requirements and proposing system solutions to meet their needs. Erwin was also accountable for opportunity discovery, design support, and revenue conversion for multiple embedded solutions in their assigned territory.

Before joining Future Electronics, Erwin held the position of Chief Technology Officer at AMS Acquisition Corp from January 2014 to December 2018. In this role, they led multiple engineering teams and focused on the development and implementation of business technology infrastructure and overall operations. Erwin also collaborated directly with sales executives to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.

Erwin's earlier experience includes working at Avnet Electronics, where they held various roles such as Sr. Field Applications Engineer, Solutions Architect, Business Development Manager, ASIC Business Development Manager, and Sr. FAE. Erwin assisted customers in selecting semiconductor components and implementing embedded software solutions. Erwin also played a key role in developing partnerships, completing designs, and providing technical training to customers.

Additionally, Erwin Wolniewitz has worked as the Chief Financial Officer/Founder at Constructora y diseño, L.L.C. and as a Baseband Design Engineer at NOKIA. Erwin has also served as an Engineer at Broadcast Electronics and as a Sargent in the US Army National Guard.

Erwin Wolniewitz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, from 1989 to 1993. In 1997, they briefly attended Quincy University to study Business Administration and Management, General, without obtaining a degree.
