Matt Lewis

Matt Lewis is the Chief Security Officer at Field Effect, where they lead information and physical security initiatives while serving as the company’s Privacy Officer for PIPEDA and GDPR. Previously, Matt held various roles at Field Effect, including Director of Security and Compliance and Senior Security Analyst, where they played a key role in achieving ISO 27001 certification. Earlier in their career, Matt worked at Communications Security Establishment Canada, leading cyber operations and threat analysis, and was recognized with a corporate award for contributions to NATO military operations. Matt studied Computer Engineering Technology at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
