Applying for UKRI or Innovate UK grants is hard enough without the added pressure of complex knowledge exchange requirements. Many research leads find themselves stuck battling video editing software or drafting comms plans when they would much rather be focused on their actual science.

Field Notes Media provides expert communications support specifically for the life sciences. I understand the technical language of your research because I’ve been there myself, holding a PhD in Crop Science from the University of Reading. You won't have to spend hours explaining the basics to me before we get to work.

I bridge the gap between complex research and accessible, impactful communication. Whether you need help with grant-mandated knowledge exchange or building your professional profile, I ensure your work is accurately represented and widely understood.

How I can help:
- Developing and executing communications plans for grant projects.
- Translating technical research for non-specialist audiences.
- Creating high-quality content, from video to written articles.
- Supporting Knowledge Exchange (KE) requirements for UKRI and Innovate UK.

If you are planning a new application or currently feel overwhelmed by project comms, let’s talk. Send a message to discuss how I can take the weight off your plate so you can focus on what you excel at.
