Robbe Block

Robbe Block has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Robbe is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at fielddrive since June 2021. Prior to this, they were the CTO Product & Co-Founder at Alexandria.works from February 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for product development, main architecture, and roadmap. Robbe also played a key role in turning the existing prototype into a SaaS solution and built out the development team. Robbe later took on customer success responsibilities, including technical support for sales, customer support, and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and custom integrations.

Before joining Alexandria.works, Robbe worked as the Head of Architecture at DataStories ® from October 2015 to November 2018, where they were responsible for implementing and supporting the DataStories platform. Robbe also held the same role at Evolved Analytics Europe during the same period.

Robbe's work experience also includes a stint as a Phd Student at the University of Antwerp from October 2011 to September 2015. Robbe also worked as a Software Developer during their time as a student at the university, where they developed a tool for writing research. Prior to that, they briefly worked in sales at Media-Saturn for a short period in 2009.

Robbe Block's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp, which they pursued from 2006-2011. Following this, they undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the same institution from 2011-2016.
