Prat Gupta is the CEO and Founder of FieldEquip. Prat has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has held senior positions at various companies. Prat has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Prat started their career at Elinear Inc as a Consulting Principal. Prat played a major role as Lead Architect for Anadarko Petroleum, strategizing and helping select technologies for internal applications development. Prat also led the development of many applications internally at Anadarko, such as land permitting, integration to SAP, AFE applications, well data links, and so forth.
In 2002, Prat joined Sapient as a Senior Architect. Prat worked on various projects for clients such as Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Daniel Measurement and Controls (Emerson Process Control), and Hines Interests.
In 2005, Prat left Sapient to start their own company, ERP Experts, LLC. Prat then went on to start FieldEquip in 2013.
Prat Gupta has a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Prat also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering with a focus on structures and computational mechanics from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, they have an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra.

FieldEquip is a cloud-based Field Service Management (FSM) SaaS software platform that allows field service organizations to manage and facilitate customer and asset-centered activities effectively. It offers a comprehensive suite of features designed to capture real-time field data, either through field personnel using an advanced, intuitive mobile application or directly from the asset/equipment via IoT edge EquipConnect. As data are gathered in real-time, FieldEquip provides management and field support groups visibility of field activities and transactions, including escalations from established alert settings, sending notifications for proactive or immediate responsive measures. FieldEquip allows management to optimize workflows and enable field personnel to be more efficient and productive, collectively improving profitability.
