Simon Assion

Simon Assion is a Tech & Comms Partner at Fieldfisher, specializing in technology, media, information, communication, and data law. They served as In-house Counsel at MDR Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk from 2012 to 2015 and worked as an Associate/Counsel at Bird & Bird from 2015 to 2022. Simon has been a lecturer at FH St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2018 and currently holds visiting lecturer positions at the University of Cologne and FernUniversität in Hagen. Additionally, they are a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for EuDir - Zeitschrift für Europäisches Digitalrecht at Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft since 2024.
