Guido Schmidt has a diverse work experience in the field of creative development and lecturing. Guido started as an intern at Pixomondo in 2008 and later worked as a scientific assistant at Universität Koblenz-Landau. In 2015, they conducted their master's thesis at dkfz - German Cancer Research Center, working on a visual interface for liver treatment planning. Guido continued their career as a software engineer and designer at Immundiagnostik from 2016 to 2018. Guido then joined NSYNK Gesellschaft für Kunst und Technik mbH in 2019 as a creative developer. In 2020, they started working at FMP.studio as a creative developer until 2023. In the same year, they also worked as a visiting lecturer at FH Bielefeld, specializing in interface and interaction design. Most recently, they joined FIELD.IO as a creative developer in 2023, and they are currently working there.
Guido Schmidt's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences for a period of one year. During this time, they pursued studies in Digital Media, specifically focusing on Animation & Game Design. Following this, from 2009 to 2013, they enrolled at the University of Koblenz and Landau, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Visualistics. Guido later pursued further education at the same university, earning a Master of Science degree in Computational Visualistics from 2013 to 2016.
