Khalid Aziz

Khalid Aziz is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in connectivity solutions and digital convergence. Currently serving as MD and Business Leader for Connectivity Solutions at Signify since August 2019, Khalid Aziz focuses on enabling communication densification through lighting infrastructure. Prior to this role, Khalid Aziz was Senior Vice President and Head of Global Ventures at Signify, leading innovation efforts within consumer and industrial ecosystems. Khalid Aziz's tenure at Nokia from September 2010 to July 2019 included positions such as Vice President of Commercial Management and Business Digitization, as well as Regional General Manager for the Middle East, where responsibilities encompassed business strategy development and execution. Earlier roles include Head of Technology at Future Communications Company International and Senior Principal Consultant at Nokia UK, where Khalid Aziz contributed to launching the first 3G network in Western Europe. Khalid Aziz holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications and Business from the University of Vaasa.
