Ryan Foley's work experience begins in 2007 when they worked as a Student Engineering Assistant at the Advanced Manufacturing Center at the University of Maine until 2010. During this time, they also held the role of Student Ambassador at the University of Maine from 2008 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2013, Ryan worked as a FIRST Robotics Competition Software Engineer at FIRST.
In 2013, they joined Kepware Technologies as a Software Quality Engineer until 2014 and then became a Software Automation Engineer. Ryan stayed with Kepware Technologies until 2016.
Next, Ryan worked at FieldStack as a Software Developer from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they developed new features and database changes, expanded and maintained internal build and deployment systems, and coordinated a summer internship program.
Afterwards, from 2018 to 2021, Ryan worked at MedRhythms, Inc. as a Software Engineer.
In 2021, they joined Very as a Software Engineer. Ryan then became a Senior Software Engineer from 2021 to 2022 before being promoted to Software Engineering Manager from 2022 to 2023.
Most recently, in 2023, Ryan joined FieldStack again, this time as the Director of Software Engineering.
