Ben Higgins

Ben Higgins has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Ben is currently working as a Manager of Software Engineering at Fiery since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EFI from 2011 to 2022 as a Manager of Software Engineering. In this role, they managed a development team and oversaw various software projects. Before EFI, they worked at Entrac Technologies Inc for 13 years as a Manager of Software Development. Ben was responsible for the development of ExpressPay self-serve payment solution used in retail environments. Additionally, they worked at IVL Technologies Ltd. as a Software Developer from 1996 to 1998 and at Leng Novak Blais Inc. as a Software/Hardware Developer from 1992 to 1996.

Ben Higgins attended the University of Waterloo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Ben focused on Economics as their major and Computer Science as their minor. Ben completed their degree in 1992. In addition, Ben also enrolled at the Radio College of Canada, where they pursued Electronics Engineering Technologist (I.E.E.E) degree. Ben completed this program in 1991.
