Anthony Taylor is an accomplished referee with extensive experience in top-level football officiating. Since August 2016, Anthony has served as a UEFA elite group referee and has been on FIFA's international list since January 2013. Notable achievements include officiating at prestigious events such as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, UEFA EURO 2024, and the FIFA World Cup 2022. In domestic competitions, Anthony has officiated the FA Cup Finals in 2017 and 2020, among other key matches. Additionally, Anthony held the position of FA CORE talent pathway North West regional leader from August 2014 to June 2022 and has a background in law enforcement and hospitality. Anthony is currently pursuing a Master of Sport Directorship at The Manchester Metropolitan University, having previously obtained an MSc in Sports Coaching from the University of Staffordshire.
