Dr. Arjun Rao is a Consultant Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician, currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Football West and as the Medical Director of Specialist Sportscare WA in Nedlands, Perth, WA. A Fellow of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians and a member of the Royal College of Physicians of London and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Dr. Rao has extensive experience managing professional sporting teams at various levels, including roles with the WAFL, AFL, and Cricket Australia. They also hold positions as a Consultant Physician at the Western Australian Institute of Sport and a Team Doctor for the Perth Glory Football Club. Additionally, Dr. Rao is involved with FIFA as an Elite Regional Medical Panel and Doping Control Officer and is a participant in the RACGP Curriculum Working Group for Sports Medicine. They are currently pursuing a BMedSci (Hons) in Anatomy and an MBchB in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Dundee.
