Ishmael Barbara has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in both the gaming and sports industries. Since October 2018, Ishmael has held various roles at the Malta Gaming Authority, currently serving as Assistant Manager in Authorisations. Additionally, Ishmael is an International Referee for FIFA and has been a Football Referee with the Malta Football Association since September 2010, while also fulfilling the role of General Secretary for the Malta Football Referees Association since August 2019. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Consultant at EY and as an Aircraft Turnaround Coordinator at Air Malta. Ishmael holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Enterprise from MCAST, earned between 2012 and 2017.
