Leonardo Ferraz is currently the Secretary General of the Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FERJ) and has served as the Director of Marketing and Institutional Relations there since 1997. They have been a representative at the CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) since 2012 and a member of the Institutional Relations Committee at FIFA since 2025. Additionally, Leonardo is a professor at the Escola de Negócios Trevisan and is pursuing studies in political and economic sciences at the Kennedy School of Government.
