Nicolas Evans

Nicolas Evans is an accomplished professional in the field of football technology and innovation, currently serving as the Head of Football Research & Standards at FIFA since March 2010. In this role, Nicolas leads a team focused on exploring new opportunities, conducting research, and establishing global industry standards for football and sports stakeholders. Previous positions at FIFA included Football Quality Programme Group Leader and Manager of the FIFA Quality Programme, where responsibilities involved the development of industry standards and collaboration with major stakeholders to improve various aspects of the game. Additionally, Nicolas has lectured at the University of St Gallen and has gained experience as an intern at Deutsches Sportfernsehen. Academically, Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Stratégie from Sciences Po and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St Gallen.
