Sameer Patel is an experienced professional in the fields of innovation and research management within the sports and motorsport sectors. Currently serving as the Innovation & Research Manager at FIFA since January 2024, Patel previously held roles at The Premier League as Systems & Technology Manager and Research & Insight Executive from March 2020 to January 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Strategy Engineer for Haas F1 Team, where support was provided for strategic decision-making during the 2019 Formula One World Championship, and as a Research Engineer for the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), focusing on safety improvements in global motorsport as part of the FIA Institute Sid Watkins Scholarship.
