Tom Gardner

Tom Gardner is an accomplished professional in the field of football performance analysis, currently serving as the Lead of Football Performance Insights at FIFA since February 2022, where Tom oversees a team delivering insights and supports various football organizations globally. Prior to this role, Tom was Head of Performance Analysis at Everton Football Club, responsible for the strategy and efficiency of performance analysis across both the First Team and Academy. Tom's career also includes roles as Academy Performance Analysis Manager and Performance Analyst at Southampton Football Club, a voluntary position at Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies F.C., and experience as an Administrative Assistant and English Tutor. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Performance Analysis from the University of Chichester and a Bachelor’s Degree in French Studies from The University of London Institute in Paris.
