Steve Kaplan is an experienced master brewer and brewery operations leader with a background in mechanical engineering. Steve began their career as a Project Engineer at Impact Technologies from 2004 to 2007 before transitioning to the brewing industry. They held positions such as Assistant Brewmaster and Group Manager before becoming the Genesee Brewmaster at North American Breweries, Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Steve serves as the Senior Director of Supply Chain at FIFCO USA, overseeing Brewery Operations at the historic Genesee Brewery in Rochester, NY. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005.
