Daniel Shain

Daniel Shain is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product leadership and entrepreneurial ventures. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Product at Fig since June 2023, Daniel has co-founded innovative companies such as Confetti and CreditGenie, where the latter provided SMEs with digital financing solutions. Previously, Daniel founded Rates.ca, establishing it as a leading rate comparison destination in Canada, and held the role of Product Head for Financial Services at Kanetix, where significant product launches were executed. Additionally, Daniel has been an advisor at the Digital Media Zone at Ryerson University and ran Finizi until its acquisition. Daniel's academic foundation was established with a BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
