Sean Pollock

Sean Pollock is currently the VP of Engineering & Technology at Fig since August 2023, focusing on fully digital lending solutions for Canadians. Prior to Fig, Sean served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Wealthsimple from September 2017 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading the engineering efforts for Wealthsimple Cash and various international products. Previous experiences include roles as a Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineer at Wealthsimple and Citylitics Inc., where Sean led development teams and machine learning projects. Sean's earlier roles included teaching at the University of Toronto, working as a Software Developer at CaseBank Technologies, and contributing to research at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Sean holds an Hon. B.Sc. in Computer Science and a Specialist in Cognitive Science from the University of Toronto.
