Darren Anderson

Darren Anderson has been working in the financial sector for over 10 years. Darren started their career as an accountant and soon moved into financial management. For the past two years, Darren has been working as the Chief Financial Officer for Innovative Vision, a company that was acquired by Support Services Group in July 2021. Prior to that, Darren was the Chief Financial Officer for Theia for a little over a year.

In their role as the CFO, Darren is responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle, including the management of accounts payable and the production and presentation of financial statements to management and outside partners. Darren has also implemented company payroll program, oversaw compliance with regulatory bodies (Ministry of Labour, WSIB), and ensured the accurate and on time filing of HST and Corporate T2 returns.

In addition, Darren has restructured company-wide chart of accounts to improve financial reporting, speed-up access to key financial information, and enhance management’s ability to budget and measure project costs. Darren has also implemented systems and procedures (purchase orders, change orders, and vendor account reconciliations) to ensure accurate billings, and to track the procurement of project materials. Lastly, they are tasked with all monthly and yearly financial closing procedures, including bank reconciliations, inter-company accounting, year-end adjustments, and report preparation and analysis.

Darren Anderson has a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University, with a Minor in Economics. Darren also has certification from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario in both CPA and CMA designations.

Their manager is Ted Dhillon, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Jean Aouad - VP of Sales, Selin Jessani - VP of Customer Experience, and Lyndsay Deckert - VP of Marketing.
