Brayden Petersen

Brayden Petersen is a highly engaged and dynamic individual, currently serving as the Campus Leader for Figma at Waterloo, where responsibilities include fostering Figma adoption and liaising with product development as part of the inaugural cohort. As a co-founder and Lead at Design Waterloo, Brayden focuses on enhancing the design landscape, while also hosting and designing for Socratica, which aims to build a creative community in Waterloo. Previous experience includes a Junior Consultant Intern role at NorthGuide and software development internships at Public and Business Service Delivery, where Brayden contributed to app engineering and UI component libraries. A former President of the Bill Hogarth S.S. Student Activity Council, Brayden has a strong background in organization and leadership within educational settings. Brayden Petersen is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, building on a foundation that includes being Valedictorian at Bill Hogarth Secondary School.
