Clancy Slack

Clancy Slack is currently the Director of Product Data Science at Figma, where they focus on managing a team of data professionals to enhance user collaboration and accessibility in design. Previously, Clancy served as a Data Scientist at Figma, contributing to a data-driven culture and analytics infrastructure. They have also worked as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, where they specialized in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging and taught introductory chemistry. Clancy began their academic journey at Union College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry before completing a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at UC Berkeley.
